Sybil Danning’s Adventure Video: Kill the Ninja (1975)

Three super-kicking rogues — Kim King (Bobby Kim), Pong Macau (Hwang Jang-Lee) and Sintaro (Kwan Yuen-Moon — hatch a plan to steal two million dollars stashed inside a wooden Buddha, originally sent by the Red Chinese to their comrades in Hong Kong. Of course, they aren’t the only ones after the cash, as a ruthless local crime syndicate has their sights set on the prize too, leading to a relentless onslaught of kicks, fists and chaos.

Before directing Miami Connection and L.A. Streetfighters, Park Woo-Sang helmed this gritty South Korean production. It was heavily re-packaged and retitled Kill the Ninja by USA Home Video as part of Sybil Danning’s Adventure Video series—complete with a custom intro and outro by the iconic genre star. Despite the title, there is not a single actual ninja in the entire movie. You may not see that, however, as the prints are so dark.
