On this episode of the podcast Phillip is joined once again by friend, movie lover, and host of the B and S About Movies podcast, co-host of the Nightmare U.S.A. podcast, and co-host of Drive-In Asylum on YouTube and Facebook every other Saturday Sam Panico. (Full disclosure…when starting this podcast Phillip thought that Devil Woman (1970) and Bruka: Queen of Evil (1973) were the same movie. However the first is the original and the second one is the sequel. Phillip watched both and talks about both throughout the episode.)
Phillip starts the episode by reading the general information about the movie with some trivia to sprinkle in. It’s then time for Listener’ Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Sam and Phil then start discussing the movie, while also going on tangents about other things. It’s a great discussion.
Phillip then asks the question of whether they noticed anything from this movie that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. Then they individually rate the movie. They then answer the question of whether they would buy this movie, rent it, or find it for free.
Phillip then gives his Phil’s Film Favorite of the Week; The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957). Sam then gives a movie recommendation; The World’s Greatest Sinner (1962). It’s then time for Phillip to promote next week’s episode where Phillip will be joined once again by his friend and film lover A.C. Nicholas to discuss 1983’s Breathless.
