On this episode of the podcast, Phillip is joined by friend, movie lover, host of the B and S About Movies Podcast, co-host of Drive-In Asylum on YouTube and also co-host of a new podcast called Nightmare USA, Sam Panico.
You can listen to us discuss Starcrash! Phillip starts the show by reading the general information about the movie. It’s then time for Listener’ Opinions from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Then Phillip and Sam have a very great discussion about this very fun movie. They then answer the question of whether they noticed anything in this movie that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. Then they individually rate the movie.
It’s then time for Phil’s Film Favorite of the Week; The Strange Door (1951). Sam then gives a movie recommendation; Blood and Guts (1978). Phillip then promotes next week’s show, which will be a rerun from the Phil on Cinema patreon, where he is joined by Jennifer Upton from The Cinema Junction Podcast to discuss Rififi from 1955. Thanks for listening.
