Yeah, you may be dealing with family stuff now, but Saturday belongs to the Drive-In Asylum Double Feature! Allow us to make you feel better after all the carbs and arguments and guilt with two absolutely wild movies.
Everything gets started at 8 PM EST on the Groovy Doom Facebook or YouTube pages. Get ready for movies, drinks, ads and to meet Matt Bussell from The Horrible Horror Show.
Up first — Simon King of the Witches which you can find on Tubi.
Here’s the drink recipe for this week’s show.
Positive Negative Warlock (taken from this recipe)
- 2 oz. scotch whiskey
- 1/2 oz. amaretto
- Slice of lemon
- Mix over ice and add a slice of lemon. That’s it!
Our second movie is Luigi Cozzi’s alien goo freakfest Contamination which is on Tubi.
Alien Eye (taken from this recipe)
- 2 oz. Midori
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1 oz. lime juice
- Club soda, to taste
- Lemon-lime soda, to taste
- Shake midori, lemon juice and lime juice with ice, then pour into a glass filled with ice.
- Top with club soda and lemon-lime soda to taste. Don’t take a shower around an alien egg!
