COME BACK TO THE DRIVE-IN ASYLUM DOUBLE FEATUE THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday night on the Groovy Doom Facebook page, we’re watching two great movies and it all starts at 8 PM East Coast Time.

Up first — a criminally underseen movie, 1982’s Mongrel. You can watch it on YouTube.

We always offer cocktail recipes, but don’t feel like you must drink.

Salty Mongel

  • 1.5 oz. vodka
  • 4 oz. grapefruit juice
  • Salt for rimming
  1. Put the vodka and juice in a shaker with ice and mix it up.
  2. Rim a glass with salt, then pour the cocktail in to enjoy.

Alien Brain Hemorrhage

  • 1 oz. peach schnapps
  • 1/2 oz. Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Drops of grenadine
  • Splash Blue Curaçao
  1. Fill a shotglass 3/4 full with peach schnapps. Chill, along with your Irish Cream, for an hour or so.
  2. Layer on Irish Cream, then slowly drizzle in grenadine, then Blue Curaçao.
