Every week, we discuss the movies we show, talk about their ad campaigns and make drinks. Here’s the first recipe.

Flying Piranha 

  • 1 oz. apricot brandy
  • 1 oz. rum
  • 2 oz. orange juice
  • 2 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • 1 oz. strawberry syrup
  1. Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
  2. Pour in a glass and watch out for those fish.

Here’s the second cocktail.

Solana Beach Octopus

  • 1.5 oz. high proof rum
  • 1 oz. Passoa
  • 2 oz. orange juice
  • 2 oz. passion fruit juice
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  1. Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Dress like Shelley Winters, pour in a glass and enjoy.
