Writers wanted for Pure Terror month!

We’re looking for writers for the month of November! Like last year’s Chilling Classics month, this time we’ll be reviewing the films of Mill Creek’s Pure Terror box set.

There’s no set length and you can write about anything you want to! Here’s an IMDB list that has all of the movies:

  • The Werewolf of Washington
  • Terror-Creatures from the Grave
  • Terror in the Jungle
  • Anatomy of a Psycho
  • Green Eyes
  • Manos the Hands of Fate

If a movie is claimed, it’s now off the list! Thanks to Bill Van Ryn, R. D Francis, Robert Constant, Paul Andolina, Melody Vena, Dustin Fallon, Roger Braden, John S. Berry, Jennifer Upton and Craig Edwards for being early adopters!

I got my box set for $5 at a used store, but you can get it for $10 on Amazon (or feel free to get these movies from any other source, several have been recently released on blu ray with much better prints). Any of the films above that have been hotlinked were already reviewed here, so I’d love someone other than me to write about them.

You have until October 15 to finish your articles. We’d love to have you on board! And hey — if you want to write at any time for the site, jump on board now!

  1. Sorry, posted that twice. Thanks so much. Just bought the DVD set from Amazon and when I’ve written the review how do I get it to you?

      1. Oh, of course by Oct 15th! Earlier, I hope. I mean, how do you prefer that I send it to you? Straight to the email, I suppose? It would be cumbersome to post here 😀
As you can tell, I am very new to this!

  2. If you are reading this: I highly recommend you jump into it. You end up watching movies you never watched–and should–and revisit films that you’ve already watched–that you shouldn’t have watched in the first time. It’s a blast.
